Here is some of the dental merchandise we stock:-

  • Duraphat toothpaste
  • Oral Clens mouthwash
  • Curasept mouthwash
  • Oral B floss and tape
  • Crest floss and tape
  • TePe interdontal brushes

At Norfolk House we firmly believe in the efficiency and effectiveness of electric toothbrushes, particularly regarding their ability to remove plaque significantly. We have been supplied with the following findings from research papers including the Cochrane Collaboration -

Among users of the Oral B plaque remover, there was an 84.5% improvement (when compared with manual brushing), 14.3% showed no change and 1.2% performed worse.

In a study of changes in clinical parameters of gum disease including bleeding from the gums and loss of gum attachment, there was a significant improvement among electric toothbrush users compared with manual toothbrush users.

Interproximal plaque was reduced by nearly 95% when using a Sonicare electric toothbrush, five times as much as a manual toothbrush. The ultrasonic energy - it operates at 31,000 brush strokes a minute - destroys plaque bacteria.
